Image courtesy of freedigitalphotos.netI’m about to write my main protagonist into a sticky situation. I’ve been thinking about this scenario for a while and how he’s going to react, but I’m curious to learn how you might react.

He’s about to be accused of murder. He has no alibi and he has a motive. He’s capable of killing. He was also the last to see the victim alive, which he has freely admitted to.

Now the victim has been found dead, all eyes turn to him and with good reason. So, it appears the facts are stacked against him.

What are your options?

  • Run and hope you don’t get caught
  • Stand & fight your corner; the truth always prevails, right?
  • Lie to try and refute the above facts (motive etc)

Think hard. When faced with such strong evidence against you, even the truth may not be enough to save you.

For the sake of this post, there are no police or forensics around to prove or disprove the facts. It’s down to your reaction. What do you do and why?
